The origins

In the interwar period:

In the interwar years, The Peiffeschof was known as a nice and rustic establishment. You could eat an omelette with bacon either in the old cafe, the taverns, close to the bowling alley, or near the swings between the trees in the orchard.

After the liberation:

The establishment, which was originally held by Ms. Bley, was transformed into a high standing inn after the liberation by her son Louis Bley. Louis was interested in hotel management but was also considered as one of the best landscape painters at the time, using a quite exceptional black and white technique.

And Today ...

In November 2000, Paule and Thierry Neyens have taken over and transformed this haven of greenery. They then decided to offer their vision of "family" hospitality, their "Hostellerie du Peiffeschof". The renovation was led by the architecture office A.3. The Peiffeschof then became a welcoming and extremely professional hotel while retaining its friendly atmosphere and attention to detail when serving customers. The renowned restaurant "Le Zinc" was turned into a gourmet brasserie which, season after season, alternates revisited classics of the terroir and contemporary suggestions developed by our chef. Thierry has created a wine list which he presents with pride and pleasure, a real work of art.

Paul and Thierry Neyens are still developing many projects...
